LTFD was presented with a $500,000 check from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)

Lancaster County Commissioners John Trescot, Ray D’Agostino and Joshua G. Parsons presented Fire Chief Steve Roy with a check for $500,000 from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) today at 5:30pm. The funds will be dedicated to building our new consolidated fire station along Millersville Pike at Charles Road. The County is using the ARPA funds for one-time projects that will be transformational and benefit the taxpayers of Lancaster County. The County will be building a new County correctional facility in Lancaster Township.
