2 Car MVA In Bausman, PA
Lancaster Township Fire Department responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Penrose and Roselawn Avenue in the village of Bausman Saturday May 24. The 10:12 p.m.

Upon arrival of the fire department, two patients were lying outside of the vehicle and third patient that was thrown into the hatch area of the car after impact, remained inside the car.

The third patient was removed from the vehicle through the passenger side door and placed on a backboard and transported to an awaiting ambulance.

The collision of the vehicles sent each car into opposite corners of the intersection with one vehicle crashing into a utility pole folding in the rear tail gate hindering rescue efforts.

The driver of the second car refused medical treatment.

The accident, remains under investigation by Lancaster City Police. Fire personnel remained on the scene for 1 hour 34 minutes.

Lancaster Township units responding were Engine 6-6-3 and Rescue 6-6. Fire Police blocked traffic around the scene.

LEMSA assisted at the scene with Medic 6-12-3, 6-12-8, 7-7-1 and Medic 100.
