MONDAY June 25, 2007 - LTFD held it's biweekly Monday night training secession at the Hershy Heritage Village swimming pool. This was the second part of a three part water rescue class taught by Chief Ron Comfort Jr.
The purpose of the class was to familiarize the firefighters with the proper procedures used in water safety and give them a greater sense of competency in dealing with on-the-water emergencies.
The second night's training included hand signals, self rescue and throw bag deployment.
