This was the second part of a three part water rescue class taught by Deputy Chief Ron Comfort Jr. The purpose of the class was to familiarize the firefighters with the proper procedures used in water safety and give them a greater sense of competency in dealing with on-the-water emergencies. The second night's training included hand signals, self rescue and throw bag deployment.
