This was the first part of a three part water rescue class taught by Chief Ron Comfort Jr. The purpose of the class was to familiarize the firefighters with the proper procedures used in water safety and give them a greater sense of competency in dealing with on-the-water emergencies. The first night covered water rescue emergency response and rescue equipment.
