Vehicle Fire On Millersville Pike
August 28th, 2004, 9:11 PM

August 28th, 2004. Crews were dispatched at 14:33 to the 1700 Blk of Millersville Pike for a reported auto on fire. County advised they were recieving multiple calls of a large truck on fire. Deputy 66 (R.Comfort Jr.), arrived first with a fully involved Chevy Blazer. Crews made quick work of the fire using an 1" 3/4 crosslay. Units on the scene were Engines 66-1 and 66-3. They were held on the scene for just over an hour. Cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
