Vehicle Accident Standby On Columbia Avenue

LTFD Engine 6-6-3 and Rescue 6-6 responded to a vehicle accident
standby in the 1300 block of Columbia Avenue, in the area of WGAL TV
station.
The accident happened at 4:21 p.m., Sunday April 2
after the driver of a dark gray Lexus sedan lost control of the
vehicle and veered of the road into a roadside drainage ditch hitting a
PP&L pole.
Firefighters provided fire protection as the car was pulled from the ravine by the tow company.
West
bound traffic was diverted around the scene as east bound traffic was
controlled by fire police when the traffic passed the crash scene.
Emergency personnel were on the scene for 35 minutes.
