Truck 6-6 Responds To Willow St. House Fire

TUESDAY JULY 31, 2007 - LTFD Truck 6-6 assisted Willow Street Fire Company on a dwelling fire at 1524 Eshelman Mill Road in West Lampeter Twp. The fire started about 10:30 a.m. in a storage room in the basement, investigators said.
Investigators determined an extension cord pinned under a water softener ignited the fire.
Willow Street Fire Chief Dave Reese said the fire caused about $7,000 in damage and displaced the home’s residents.
