Apparatus from Lancaster
Township were dispatched to 1014 Sterling Place for a reported
apartment fire. Chief 6-6 (G.Usdin) arrived and found a slight smoke
condition after a small kitchen fire. The occupant had been cooking and
ignited her stove and cabinets on fire. The residents were able to
extinguish the fire prior to the arrival of the fire department. Units
cleared in about 15 minutes.
