Spill Control At Engleside
July 31st, 2005, 5:00 PM

Just after 5pm, crews from Lancaster Township Fire Department were
dispatched to the 900 Block of South Prince Street for spill control after a motor vehicle accident.

Chief 6-6 (Glenn Usdin) arrived and found a pickup truck had ruptured his fuel tank and was leaking gas onto the road way.

The truck ran over a median strip at the Engleside intersection and pulled off the roadway into the Dirty O'le Tavern parking lot.

The Rescue 6-6 arrived with 4 personnel and placed absorbent material onto the spill.

Units cleared in under 20 minute
