On July 19, 2005, Just before midnight, Units from Eden (Station 2-4),
Neffsville (Station 2-7), East Petersburg (Station 2-3) and Roherstown (Station 6-7) were dispatched to 143 Greenview Drive at the Greenview Terrace Apartments in Manheim Township.

First arriving units found heavy smoke showing on the second floor from an end-of-the-row townhouse.

Interior crews found that fire was occupying most of the void spaces and cockloft areas.

The fire self vented and crews were pulled out to re-evaluate. Command 2-4 (M. Roten) requested numerous other units to assist. This brought the Rescue from 6-6 with a staffing of 9 personnel.

The rescue was dispatched initially for air but once on the scene was reassigned to Division 2 of the fire building.

Crews finished opening up the ceiling and walls to expose the fire that was running the void spaces and knocked down the remainder of fire and reported to rehab.

Once cleared from rehab, the crew split, half filled air cylinders (26 of them) and the other half reported back to manpower staging where they assisted in wrap up.

Crews from 6-6 operated on the scene for just over 2 hours.
