Monday Night Training — Back To Basics

LTFD held its bi-weekly training Monday August 8 at 7p.m. Water rescue
at Hershey Heritage pool was the scheduled training but was canceled
due to bad weather.
Handline advancement and hoseloads/packing were the topic training night.
Two groups of firefighters advanced 1 1/2" handlines from Engines 6-6-2 through the social hall.
Engine 6-6-3 advanced a line through the social hall and down the
basement stairs to a mock fire in the basement. Proper instruction was
given on hoseline advancement down a staircase.
Lieutenant Paul Castline was instructor with Engines 6-6-2 and J Hatfield with Engine 6-6-3.
