Monday Night Training - Fire Extinguishers

MONDAY FEBRUARY 26, 2007 — Fire extinguisher training was the topic of
Monday night training which was led by LT. Jake Bowman and Firefighter John Logan.
A short classroom discussion explained the various classes and types of extinguishers and their use.
For the second half of the evenings training, firefighters used extinguishers on a live fire exercise.
A metal tub was filled with a
class "B" material, a flammable liquid.
Firefighters extinguished the fire using the proper extinguisher.
