Monday Night Hoseline Training
May 15th, 2006, 7:00 PM

MONDAY MAY 15, 2006 — Firefighters learned hoseline advancement during the second training held at an abandoned house.

Firefighters quickly found out advancing handlines up stairs and around corners isn’t as easy as it may seem.

The abandoned house at 1250 Shreiner Station Road was filled with mock smoke so firefighters would have a realistic atmosphere inside the house.

Captain Scott Slaymaker and Lieutenant Paul Castline conducted the training for the firefighters.
