TUESDAY JUNE 30, 2009 - Crews were dispatched at 19:45 hours to 601 Crestgate Place in the Crossgates community of Millersville.

First arriving units from 65 found an electrical problem in 601 and 603 Crestgate Place.

The crew from Engine 66-1 level one staged until reporting to manpower staging as the interior crew reported a working fire in the basement.

Engine 66-1 then repositioned to the opposite end of the block and secured their own water supply.

Crews were split up to perform salvage, then were reassigned to a second handline for fire suppression. The remainder of the crew performed seaches and checked for fire conditions in the remaining attached townhomes.

A second electrical problem was found in 612 Crestgate Place that was isolated to the electrical panel. PPL responded to isolate all problems.

Rescue 66 was dispatched to fill air cylinders on scene.

All crews completed their assigned tasks and were placed available. Units were on the scene for just under 3 hours.
