In an attempt to recognize the heroic efforts of rescue personnel world-wide, Amkus Rescue Systems established the AMKUS Star Award Program. The AMKUS Star is awarded to personnel involved in outstanding rescue effort utilizing the AMKUS Rescue System. The following personnel were involved in a rescue September 27, 2006.
