Car Fire At McDonald's

FRIDAY JUNE 26, 2009 - A small car fire was reported at 7:54 p.m. near the drive through lane at the McDonald's Restaurant, 1296 Millersville Pike, in the Manor Shopping Center.

The caller explained a tan Toyota Starlet experienced an engine compartment fire. The fire was out but was still smoking.

No fire or visible smoke was evident upon arrival of the fire department.

Firefighters provided spill control for leaking antifreeze under the vehicle, gathered information for the incident report and returned to service at 8:07 p.m.
