No injuries were reported after a violent 3 car collision at the intersection of Columbia Avenue and Wilson Drive / Abbeyville Road, Friday June 17.
The 5:17 accident occurred after a white Chrysler Jeep failed to stop for the red light at the intersection.
The Jeep struck a silver/green Ford Explorer traveling south on Wilson Drive. After the impact, both vehicles smashed into a silver Honda Civic in the turning lane at Abbeyville Road and Columbia Avenue.
Lancaster Township Firefighter Dale Kline, who was also waiting in the turning lane on Abbeyville Road witnessed the accident. Kline immediately checked the occupants of the vehicles for injuries and provided traffic control until emergency services arrived.
Fire Police closed Abbeyville Road and directed traffic around the scene on Columbia Avenue.
Emergency services remained on the scene for an hour.
