2 Cars, 1 Minivan Collide At Manor Center

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 30, 2006 — Engine 66-3 and Rescue 66 were dispatched at 3:49 p.m. for a class 2 accident in front of the Mcdonald's Restaurant, 1296 Millersville Pike at Manor Center.

Three vehicles collided at the entrance to the shopping center blocking outgoing traffic.

A gray 1987 Oldsmobile Silhouette minivan and a red 1991 Mercury Sable GS sustained minor front end damage. The third vehicle, a Green 1999 Mazda 626 LX sustained moderate rear and driver side damage.

Firefighters applied light stabilization and depowered the green Mazda.

Firefighters also assisted EMS with patient removal and packaging.

Three patients were transported to the hospital including a small child by Lancaster EMS.

Fire Police directed traffic around the incident until the scene was cleared.

Lancaster City Police continues the investigation into the cause of the accident.

Emergency personnel were in service for one hour.
