2 Car Crash On Millersville Pike

Lancaster Township Fire Department responded to a vehicle accident with blocking on Millersville PIke just west of Hershey Avenue, Thursday July 15 at 5:27 p.m.

Upon arrival of fire apparatus, both cars were leaking fluids with one vehicle smoking from a small fire under the hood.

Rescue 6-6 crew stabilized and depowered both vehicles.

Engine 6-6-2 crew used a water can to extinguish the small engine compartment fire. A bumper line was deployed as a precaution.

Engine 6-6-3 assisted with spill cleanup.

Both vehicles were moved from the street into the parking lot of the Getty Mart to open the roadway.

Lancaster City Police are investigating the accident.
